About The Position

Join AriensCo as a Senior Test Technician at our location in Brillion, WI! We’re looking for a motivated and passionate professional to help develop and test machinery and equipment. In this role, you’ll work closely with our engineering team, bringing innovative ideas to life and ensuring top-quality performance.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school
  • Minimum of 8 years related experience and/or training
  • Willing and able to get fork lift driving certification

Responsibilities

  • Review project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem, and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies
  • Generate sketches for the Model Shop to request parts fabrication by machine, sheet metal or other means
  • Devise, fabricate, and assemble new test setups mechanical components or assemblies for yard and garden products snow or other company machinery
  • Set up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design proposals for improving equipment performance, durability or other factors, or to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control
  • Set up test procedures, instrumentation and computer support
  • Run complex non routine tests
  • Set up and conducts all regulatory tests (ANSI, CPSC, CE)
  • Analyze indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and modifies or adjusts equipment to meet specifications
  • Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test method
