Position Summary We are hiring a Sr. Test Engineer to generate microwave test procedures, develop automated test equipment (ATE) stations, and support new product qualifications. This role will include both design verification testing and acceptance level testing. The candidate will be a part of a design development team for new products and provide support to existing designs through the life of the product.

  • Develop and troubleshoot RF (UHF, S-Band, X, Ka, or Ku bands) test setups and associated support equipment to execute testing strategies.
  • Write automation software for engineering and production to interact with Design Under Test (DUT), test equipment, and instrumentation.
  • Review customer specifications and understand microwave test requirements leading to the generation of an Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP).
  • Work with the cross functional team to develop custom test fixturing (switch matrices, etc.) to perform the RF test plan.
  • Validate the final test set-up is accurately performing the tests consistent with the test specification.
  • Support new product qualification testing and qualification reports.
  • B.S. or M.S. in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, software), math, physics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in RF testing and validation.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English with excellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills.

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Experience with design tools such as Labview preferred.
