You’ll work with cutting-edge technology, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with a team dedicated to innovation and excellence. Our Sr. Test Engineer designs, develops, integrates, and maintains test strategies, plans and procedures for system level testing of the Aurora manufacturing process. The role is responsible for development, verification, and validation of performance information . Design, code, and debug test software to meet parametric measurement, functional test, & throughput requirements. Design, develop, integrate, and debug loadboxes, fixtures, cables, and test bays to meet product test requirements. Participate on product and/or process problem-solving teams. Support and facilitate process, procedure, and cultural change targeted at improving quality and productivity. Monitor and improve both internal and external product quality. Monitor, maintain, and improve test system yield and test time performance. Schedule, manage, and communicate multiple project activities between multiple project team members to assure on-time completion. The expected annual salary range for this role is $83,500 - $130,000 a year depending on experience. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

  • Designs, develops, integrates, and maintains test strategies, plans and procedures for system level testing of the Aurora manufacturing process.
  • Responsible for development, verification, and validation of performance information.
  • Designs, codes, and debugs test software to meet parametric measurement, functional test, & throughput requirements.
  • Designs, develops, integrates, and debugs loadboxes, fixtures, cables, and test bays to meet product test requirements.
  • Participates on product and/or process problem-solving teams.
  • Supports and facilitates process, procedure, and cultural change targeted at improving quality and productivity.
  • Monitors and improves both internal and external product quality.
  • Monitors, maintains, and improves test system yield and test time performance.
  • Schedules, manages, and communicates multiple project activities between multiple project team members to assure on-time completion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 2 years+ of testing experience within the electronics field.
  • Strong programming knowledge and proficient in C and C#.
  • Experience and understanding of measurement systems.
  • Experience and understanding of both digital and analog circuits.
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis and problem solve.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Experience with the transformation of R&D functions from Python/C++/Matlab into more efficient and high-performance production processes.
  • Knowledge of methods and tools in automotive development, such as Ethernet, CAN, UDP, TCP/IP.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods, reaching, and using hands/fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • 5 years+ of testing experience within the electronics field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent electronics / electrical engineering degree.
