This Test Engineer role provides technical leadership within our growing manufacturing operation. This individual works cross-functionally to deliver a world-class assembly environment for refrigeration products, ensuring equipment, processes, and test systems are ready for production. Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, procurement, installation, and debugging of test and assembly equipment to ensure readiness.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and corporate teams to design layout and deliver high-performing assembly and test systems.
  • Develop procedures for calibration checks, adjustments, functional test operations, and preventive maintenance on test equipment.
  • Train assembly and technical support staff on equipment troubleshooting, root-cause evaluation, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Support the creation of a safety culture rooted in Human & Organizational Performance principles.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts, including equipment optimization and developing innovative solutions for new applications.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Test Engineering personnel as the facility grows.
  • Use a people-first, process-disciplined approach to support Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost performance across the production line.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture — ensuring every team member feels responsible for identifying and addressing risks before they become issues.
  • Build a culture that surfaces and solves problems daily — driving continuous improvement in people, process, and equipment performance.
  • Foster two-way communication, ensuring team members feel informed, engaged, and empowered to influence decisions and outcomes.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and alignment around shared goals.
  • Lead with integrity, modeling ethical decision-making and building a culture of trust and accountability.
