SR Terminal Manager

The Terminal Manager oversees daily operations at Parsec’s Battleboro terminal, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service for CSX and onsite customers. This role leads a team of supervisors and hourly employees, drives productivity, manages staffing, and maintains strong customer and rail-partner relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage all terminal operations, including freight handling, yard flow, equipment oversight, and shift performance. Ensure all work complies with CSX requirements, FRA/OSHA regulations, and Parsec policies. Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline staff; manage staffing, scheduling, and performance. Serve as the main point of contact for CSX and customer partners, providing updates and resolving service issues. Monitor KPIs, labor utilization, overtime, and equipment needs to support operational goals and cost control. Enforce safety standards, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and ensure timely corrective actions. Oversee administrative tasks such as timekeeping, reporting, onboarding, and documentation. Qualifications 3+ years of leadership experience in logistics, intermodal, transportation, or related operations. Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance. Effective communicator with proven supervisory and problem-solving skills. Experience working with rail partners—CSX experience strongly preferred. Requirements
- 3+ years of leadership experience in logistics, intermodal, transportation, or related operations.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
