Position Summary The Sr. Manager of Telehealth Business Development & Program Design for Ambulatory and Post-Acute Services is responsible for advancing the growth and operational success of telehealth programs across post-acute transitional care settings. This role focuses on identifying new market opportunities, designing scalable care models, and supporting implementation efforts that align with established clinical, financial, and strategic goals. The position blends business development, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on program execution to enhance access, streamline delivery, and improve the patient experience Responsibilities Essential Functions • Collaborates with operational and business stakeholders to translate strategy into executable business plans and scalable virtual care pro. • Leads and develops direct reports through coaching, performance management, and professional development, ensuring alignment with department goals and Orlando Health values. • Identifies and executes emerging telehealth growth opportunities through partnerships, consumer channels, and employer-aligned care models. • Prepares compelling business cases, service proposals, and scopes of work (SOWs) to support new virtual care offerings and market expansion. • Works with finance and revenue cycle teams to model program economics, evaluate pricing structures, and assess ROI for virtual care services. • Supports the execution of contracts and agreements with external vendors, employer groups, or hospitality entities in alignment with approved strategic direction. • Partners with marketing and patient access teams to implement tactical outreach plans and track performance of patient acquisition efforts. • Gathers and interprets market intelligence, payer trends, and competitive activity to guide decision-making and positioning of services. • Monitors business development performance metrics such as pipeline growth, lead conversion, referral volume, and partner engagement. • Works closely with operational teams to support program performance, troubleshoot barriers, and refine processes. • Serves as a liaison between frontline teams, leadership, and support departments to ensure successful program execution. • Assists in tracking operating budgets, supply needs, and resource allocation for virtual care programs under execution. • Represents Telehealth Services professionally in various settings, ensuring adherence to Orlando Health policies, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local standards. • Stays current with the national and state regulatory standards being developed to support and/or limit the ability of providers to use Telehealth capabilities. • Creates a climate of empowerment and trust with all working relationships. • Manages assigned team members, overseeing daily work assignments, hiring decisions, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives. • Manages issues with honesty, compassion, impartiality, and responsiveness. • Maintains regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Other Related Functions Assists the Sr. Director of Enterprise Telehealth through a variety of assignments and initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or business-related field.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and project management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in healthcare operations, program management, or business development, with at least 2 years focused on telehealth, virtual care, or digital health.
  • Proven track record of launching or scaling healthcare programs
  • Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Certified Business Development Expert (CBDE), Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), PMP, or Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt).
