About The Position

This is a techno-functional Operations Support role specializing in diagnosing, triaging and resolving production incidents (no coding involved, but technical expertise in mandatory). Responsible for triaging incoming issues to determine severity, reproducing bugs, performing root cause analysis (RCA) using tools like log analysis or database queries, and often providing workarounds or permanent fixes. Serves as a bridge between technical teams and end users.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with applications/web development, programming, and debugging and troubleshooting issues in a ASP.NET C# environment.
  • Writing queries to analyze data and debug stored procedures in MS SQL Server
  • .Net framework
  • Javascript
  • .Net Entity Framework and deployment procedures for web solutions
  • Rest API and SOAP services build and deployment
  • Web application hosting in Microsoft IIS

Responsibilities

  • Assist in resolving production support problems.
  • Develop and suggest alternative approaches to resolving problems.
  • Gather information from the system, analyze program and time requirements, and prepare documentation to change existing programs.
  • Debug codebase and SQL stored procedures to troubleshoot reported issues with existing programs.
  • Collaborate with a variety of internal product teams to address and define reported issues.
  • Create and assign service request tickets to the appropriate team in response to customer needs.
  • Manage automated jobs and configuration files on remote servers in sync with deployments
  • Conduct UAT, create test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.
  • Create appropriate documentation in work assignments such as meeting notes, program code, release management tickets and any technical documentation.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
