The Surveillance Logistics team is seeking a Senior Technician, Logistics to serve on the Pack/Ship team onsite in McKinney, TX.

Requirements

HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
At least 1 year of warehouse, shipping-related work experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
General industry experience and understanding of protocol in a defense company, including work with Government Furnished Material
Working knowledge of SAP and Defense Transportation Regulations
Import/Export Compliance experience
Excellent verbal, written, organizational and time management skills
Possess a solid reputation for safety, professionalism, and ethical responsibility
Experience handling products safely and carefully
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and execute written shipping instructions
Examine packed material labels for accuracy
Prepare shipping documents and label materials for shipping
Load trucks/moving material on the dock using material handling equipment such as powered industrial trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks which will require the ability to lift up to 28 lbs.
Coordinate and monitor workflow, assisting in prioritizing activities in assigned areas to improve upon service level commitment
Schedule carrier pick-ups via the Transportation Management System (TMS)
Work in a high tempo, high stress customer service environment
Position will (occasionally) require working additional hours and Saturdays
Position will require ability to obtain 49CFR and IATA HAZMAT certifications
Position will require the ability to obtain a Powered Industrial Truck operating certification
