About The Position

This is more than a sales role—it’s a chance to bridge industries. We’re seeking a Sr. Technical Sales Engineer with a proven track record in Aerospace, Defense, or Medical Device sales who’s ready to apply their deep technical knowledge and consultative selling skills to TEI. You’ll be the face of our company to OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, translating customer needs into engineered solutions and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in technical sales, preferably in the Aerospace, Defense, or Medical Device industries
  • Demonstrate consistent examples of growing revenue with new clients in the Aerospace, Defense, or Medical Device industries.
  • Can speak to the business development funnel process they used to prospect, track, close, and maintain new clients.
  • Strong technical acumen, persuasive communication, and relationship-building abilities
  • Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes or prototype component design
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with aerospace and defense OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and engineering teams
  • Understand customer technical requirements and propose tailored product solutions
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotes
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and alignment.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic sales planning
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer visits
