DESCRIPTION: As a Senior Technical Project Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will lead strategic initiatives that drive our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You will manage multiple high-impact projects spanning business transformation, process optimization, and organizational change across divisions. In this role, you'll partner with senior leaders to translate strategic vision into executable plans while guiding cross-functional teams to successful delivery. You'll establish project governance, support accountability, and ensure alignment with business objectives through clear communication and robust project management practices. REQUIREMENTS: • Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in project/program management leading complex, cross-functional initiatives • Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Engineering, Science, or related field • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) a plus • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with budgets exceeding $3M • Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and best practices • Strong proficiency with project management tools and software (MS Project, PPM Pro, etc.) • Advanced skills in stakeholder management and senior-level communications • Experience leading organizational change management and business transformation initiatives • Proven ability to collaborate and guide teams in matrix organizations • Excellence in risk management, issue resolution, and status reporting • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PPI) • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills • Ability to travel up to 50%, based on project needs • Project management experience across multiple regions preferred • Experience in life sciences, manufacturing, or related industries preferred Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in West Virginia is $118,100.00–$177,200.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
