About the position
As a Senior Technical Project Manager specializing in security and compliance at Redesign Health, you will be responsible for implementing security measures and ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards within the company's product portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Management, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and manage privacy, security, and compliance risks. Your role will involve supporting the execution of the security and compliance strategy, collaborating with various teams to establish processes, monitor technical compliance, and communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with strong project management skills and knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, are required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the technical security and compliance strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of security and compliance requirements
- Establish processes for monitoring technical compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to conduct regular assessments and identify non-compliance issues
- Work closely with Technical Operations, Enterprise Applications, and Engineering teams to implement security controls and address vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and external partners to ensure their compliance with security and privacy requirements
- Effectively communicate the security and compliance strategy, project progress, risks, and challenges to stakeholders
- Have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Have 6+ years as a technical project or program manager, focusing on security and compliance
- Have in-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards
- Have strong project management skills
- Demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Have an excellent understanding of security technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 6+ years of experience as a technical project or program manager, focusing on security and compliance, ideally in the healthcare industry
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, HITECH Act, GDPR, etc.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, legal, policy, and compliance
- Excellent understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, encryption methods, and access control mechanisms
