The Finance Data & Experiences (FD&E) organization is on a mission to redefine how Microsoft measures, monitors, and optimizes its global business. We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Technical Program Manager to join the FD&E Platform team. You will help build and scale the platform and deliver AI powered applications that streamline end-to-end Finance workflows. This role requires collaboration across engineering, data, and business stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities and deliver measurable outcomes through responsible and strategic AI integration. The position bridges cross-functional programs across FD&E Platform, Finance, and central Microsoft partners, ensuring optimal end-to-end solutions and driving simplification. This is a critical role as we respond to a changing business and regulatory environment, enabling consistency in tools, processes, and governance.

  • Build, ship, and operate common platform capabilities.
  • Deliver AI copilots, agents, and automations for Finance workflows.
  • Implement Responsible AI controls and ensure compliance by design.
  • Lead cross organization planning and delivery across multiple workstreams.
  • Instrument telemetry and experiments to track adoption and performance.
  • Prepare launches, training, documentation, and communications.
  • Engage Finance stakeholders and evaluate emerging technologies.
  • Champion a culture of learning and growth.
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Experience building platform services on Azure or another major cloud using AI technologies.
  • Experience with data analytics technologies, including Azure Data Explorer, SQL, ETL, machine learning, Power BI.
  • Hands on familiarity with AI copilots and agents.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity while partnering across organizations.
  • Experience using data to drive prioritization and measure progress.
  • Proven collaboration and communication skills, including executive ready storytelling.
  • Competitive salary range of USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year.
