We are hiring a Sr Technical Program Manager to join the LendingClub Enterprise Program Management Function. You will be a key member of the enterprise PMO team and will be responsible for leading the execution of business-critical technology initiatives. You will be responsible for the execution of specific initiatives and will develop project plans and timelines to ensure execution of projects is on-time and on-budget. To be successful, you must work effectively and collaborate cross functionally across multiple technology and business functions within LendingClub and be able to pivot between delivery of new products and incremental features and functionality to support our members.

  • Lead a portfolio of initiatives through ideation, strategy, planning, delivery, and launch.
  • Lead the intake process for all new initiatives and issues, working collaboratively across teams to assess feasibility, prioritize requests, and onboard programs into the portfolio.
  • Manage the delivery of specific initiatives, creating and maintaining a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring overall project timeline/milestones, tasks, resources, task dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Consult with business partners to clarify and define complex project requirements and business cases to align with strategic objectives.
  • Create dashboards and reporting to track project progress supported by metrics.
  • Generate and maintain accurate weekly status reports, synthesizing progress, key decisions, and next steps.
  • Coordinate meetings to initiate working sessions, resolve project issues, manage and resolve escalations.
  • Collaborate closely with technology leaders to ensure proper alignment of resources to current and future programs based on priorities and capacity.
  • Manage all activities in a project life cycle associated with high visibility projects that are long-term, across one or more lines of business and have a substantial impact to the business.
  • Maintain thorough and organized management of all project artifacts, including plans, documentation, and decision logs, ensuring traceability and compliance.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to accurately scope programs, define deliverables, identify dependencies, and establish realistic schedules.
  • Manage all activities and ceremonies in SAFe (Scaled Agile).
  • Coordinate with Product Management on requirements, planning and prioritization.
  • Aggressively manage dependencies and impact, coordinate with other groups, and remove obstacles that stand between our team and business & customer success.
  • Formulate project presentations for executive leadership on project status and decisions.
  • Provide transparency and communication across the program team and amongst stakeholders.
  • 6+ years of experience in technical program management within the fintech, financial services, or technology space.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field of study; or equivalent work experience.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • SAFe or Scrum certification required.
  • Deep experience with Agile and Waterfall technology approaches a plus.
  • Proven Technical Program Management experience handling complex projects, program implementation, or change management experience.
  • Previous experience of driving large technical operations, IT or platform transformational projects a plus.
  • Previous experience working with risk management and audit functions as part of project delivery/implementation a plus.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration.
  • Ability to execute on multiple strategic initiatives while interacting with various internal stakeholders across multiple projects.
