The Senior Technical Program Manager at Amazon Robotics will play a crucial role in deploying high-performance robotic systems that interact intelligently with humans in fulfillment centers. This position involves collaborating with scientists and engineers to manage complex automation systems, ensuring effective communication and project execution across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical program management, particularly in integrating hardware and software solutions, and will be responsible for driving program schedules and mitigating risks.

  • Have experience with complex system design, including experience integrating hardware and software deliverables.
  • Drive consensus on technical decisions and ensure the appropriate resources are employed to deliver high quality results.
  • Act as the interface between the manipulation organization, our stakeholders and customers.
  • Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks.
  • Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple program teams with competing priorities.

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
  • Experience working with Applied Science and Hardware teams.
