About The Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Product Owner to guide the development of enterprise reporting systems, data integrations, and master data management solutions. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of approximately 10 engineers and liaise with key business stakeholders from marketing, finance, and executive leadership. You will be responsible for setting priorities and ensuring that technical development aligns with business objectives and provides actionable insights for strategic decision-making. This role will require expertise in translating business needs into technical requirements and a deep understanding of reporting tools, data pipelines, and master data strategies.

Requirements

• Required bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics or related field
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Product Ownership
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to define and achieve high value business goals
• Demonstrated experience driving business innovation, leveraging management information, and data analytics to drive results
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle
• A 'self-starter' attitude that thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Strong communication style, both verbal and written, with experience presenting complex ideas to varying levels of familiarity, adjusting style to their experience and needs
• High organization, attention to detail, and project management skills
• Proven ability to influence and build productive and cooperative relationships with team members, stakeholders, senior leadership, and other key partners

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the executive leadership team, finance, marketing, and other business stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives for enterprise reporting.
• Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the engineering team, ensuring alignment and clear communication on project goals and timelines.
• Gather, prioritize, and translate business requirements into actionable user stories and technical requirements.
• Manage the product backlog, ensuring that features and improvements are prioritized to meet business needs and deliver value to stakeholders.
• Define and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring clear visibility into progress and alignment with business goals.
• Work closely with the engineering team to plan and deliver features using agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Support the team in removing roadblocks and ensuring smooth progress toward sprint goals.
• Ensure the successful delivery of features on time and within scope, balancing stakeholder needs with engineering capabilities.
• Ensure accurate and reliable master data management, enabling consistent and trustworthy reporting across various departments.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.
• Measure the success of implemented reporting solutions and integrations against predefined KPIs, ensuring that they meet business objectives.
• Continuously improve processes, tools, and practices to ensure efficient product development and delivery.
• Actively participate in retrospectives and feedback sessions to enhance the team's agile practices.
