About The Position

The Sr. Technical Development Engineer - Digital Power is responsible for delivering and managing technical training for the Digital Power Operations team, focusing on Energy & Power Metering System (EPMS) solutions. This role involves creating, deploying, and maintaining training content for various software and hardware related to power metering, ensuring that team members are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in electrical engineering, control systems, computer science, or software engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in configuration and programming of EPO, PME, and Power Meters.
  • Experience with development and deployment of Schneider Electric proprietary software such as Power Metering Expert (PME) or EcoStruxure Power Operations (EPO).
  • Good understanding of industry standard communication protocols.

Nice To Haves

  • Field experience with configuration of Power meters and understanding of control and power wiring of metering devices.
  • Experience delivering and creating training.
  • Knowledgeable in networking architectures, topologies, and hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver training to new and existing members of the Digital Power Operations team.
  • Create, manage, and deploy technical training for EPMS solutions.
  • Deploy EPMS training to Application Engineers, System Commissioning Specialists, and University Recruits.
  • Collaborate with PMU and Line of Business to update training content with the latest products.
  • Identify training needs and develop missing content/training.
  • Maintain the competency dashboard of Digital Power Operations application engineers.
  • Finalize and maintain the training calendar.
  • Manage the certification level of training participants.
