About The Position

The Sr. Technical Data Specialist (Sr Business Admin Spec) is a highly organized and detail oriented individual responsible for managing complex administrative and technical tasks, financial activities, and project coordination with minimal supervision, ensuring efficient operations and supporting organizational goals. This role requires advanced knowledge of industry practices for data presentation and analysis, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. This position will coordinate and collaborate with the Business Admin to assist that role when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
  • CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Advanced ability to grasp and apply new information quickly; handles more complex problems.
  • Understanding of engineering disciplines and concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least an intermediate understanding of Relational Databases.
  • Expert in Excel data analysis functions and formulas with additional expert level ability in features such as Power Pivot, complex chart design and proficiency in Power Query and M language.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Expense reporting system fluency.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerBi with proficiency in Power Query, M Language and chart designer.
  • Shows initiative on assignments, exercises independent judgment, and professionally executes projects with little direction.
  • Very solid knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the completion of departmental and/or program projects and goals.
  • Responsible for financial and administrative responsibilities, including facilities, logistics, budgeting, reporting, and coordination.
  • Assists in establishing budgets, monitoring performance, status reporting, documentation, and pricing for proposals, with an emphasis on administration, planning, and tracking.
  • Prepares, processes, monitors, and updates required reports and documents, including budgets, schedules, purchase requests, and forms.
  • Own collection of data across several sources to generate charts and graphics for dashboards and presentations.
  • Coordinates small projects to support the organization.
  • Participates in, and in some case facilitates, Agile ceremonies to gain context of the data and to drive an appropriate result.
  • Conducts analyses and provides meaningful recommendations from reports.
