About The Position

The position involves providing information about products and services to address customer needs and offering technical solutions. The role requires responding to customer service calls courteously and professionally, answering customers' questions, and sending additional information via email. The candidate will need to understand customers’ needs and identify sales opportunities while creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Some post-secondary education (preferred).
  • Fluid Power Specialist (preferred) or willing to obtain within first year.
  • 3+ years of Hydraulic experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provides information about products and services addressing customer needs and offering technical solutions.
  • Responding to customer service calls courteously and professionally, answering customers' questions and sending additional information per email.
  • Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Identifies and nurtures potential clients.
  • Upselling and explaining product and services features, via telephone and email; providing prices and lead times.
  • Preparing Quotes, Orders, addressing client inquiries regarding status of orders, back-order reports, payments, RGAs, returns, repairs, etc.
  • Communicating with in-house teams in inquire builds time, technical requirements, and shipping logistics to provide the most accurate lead times.
  • Providing customer support and troubleshooting services via telephone and email.
  • Communicating with existing and new customers, contacting potential customers, and following up on leads, including communicating shipping of confirmed orders, any delays or ETA’s.
  • Staying up to date about competing products and services.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
