About The Position

This position is part of the team responsible for the operations and infrastructure support of the enterprise systems management tools used within RBC. Reporting to the manager of the systems management group the incumbent will drive Business Service solutions and deliver to the IT support teams. As a senior post a high level of professionalism, industry knowledge and drive are required to ensure the service provided matches the businesses needs. In this role you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing successful implementation of the above mentioned. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree coupled with change management experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
  • A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Scripting and automation – proficient in python, bash, PowerShell and similar scripting languages.
  • Experience with REST API for tool integration.
  • Familiar with Tanium , Service now , StoneBranch and other system management tools.
  • Familiar with Operating systems such as Linux, and Windows and monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity in a time efficient manner.
  • Monitor and control activities according to plan.
  • Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks.
  • Analyze, mitigate, and escalate where appropriate
  • Develop and execute on end-to-end change management plans and plan and execute all communication related to these.
  • Collaborate and contribute on cross-functional enterprise initiatives and manage the effective implementation of assigned deliverables.
  • Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners.
  • Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.
  • Contribute to ongoing administrative program activities as required.
