Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP's, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
  • Working with customers to requisition servers and deploy the DoseIQ and DeviceBridge applications.
  • Installing, monitoring and patching Linux servers running applications in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Provide L3 support for application, server and device hardware to support teams and device deployment teams.
  • Serve as a point of contact and collaborate with all levels of the customer's organization (IT, Biomedical Engineering, project management, executive, and clinical) on product, system, and device integration initiatives.
  • Participation in daily team calls and customer calls.
  • Maintain system security and address vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in 24x7 support rotation.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20%.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in biomedical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, software engineering or IT-related field with 3+ years of related experience or Bachelor's in related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Linux system administration.
  • Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, network configuration.
  • Networking experience; IP tables, Linux address routing, subnetting.
  • Kubernetes and Docker experience.
  • Experience with server virtualization.
  • Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) experience.
  • Experience in file sharing: NFS, OpenEBS, Block Storage.
  • Experience with configuration, maintaining and tuning high availability systems.
  • Familiarity with security and antivirus best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and with team members from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work in evenings, including the weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating across teams.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
