About The Position

The Analyst/Data Collector is responsible for gathering raw field data and transforming it into clear, accurate reports, dashboards, and presentations. This role supports operational, technical, and customer-facing teams by compiling information, validating data quality, and assisting with analysis related to HVAC, mechanical, or controls environments. The position also contributes to continuous process improvement and documentation standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on industry knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively through written reports, graphs, and presentations.

Requirements

  • You Must Have High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a security background check and obtain U.S. Government security clearances, as required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an HVAC, mechanical, or controls-related environment.
  • 3 or more years of experience data entry, reporting, or analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to provide indirect supervision or coordination of personnel or subcontractors.

  • Previous industry experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, or related fields.
  • Prior HVAC technical, installation, or controls experience.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Refined presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical data to non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced customer service and client-facing communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to self-manage, follow established procedures, identify errors, and proactively address issues.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and organize raw field data for use in reports, analysis, and presentations.
  • Compile, assemble, refine, and publish summary documentation and work reports.
  • Assist in developing graphs, charts, dashboards, and presentation materials for internal and customer use.
  • Develop, document, and maintain standardized work processes and data collection methodologies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to materials, equipment, and subcontractor management.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of work processes and associated documentation.
  • Provide indirect supervision and coordination support for field personnel and subcontractors.
  • Interface directly with customers to support training, data review, and work effort assessments.
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or process issues and proactively recommend corrective actions.
