About The Position

What Product Test & Calibration contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Product Test & Calibration sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment. What is expected of you and others at this level: Applies knowledge and company policies to complete a variety of tasks. Demonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility. Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues. May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments. Adheres to all quality guidelines. Works with limited supervision. Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor. May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members.

Requirements

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • 2-4 years of experience
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, including disassembling, rebuilding, and replacing parts.
  • Report complex issues and recommend equipment modifications.
  • Set up, adjust, and optimize automatic and semi-automatic machines to ensure quality production, including adjusting components, feeders, and controls.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations (e.g., EH&S, OSHA, ISO 13485, GMP) and company policies.
  • Participate in safety initiatives, report hazards and potential unsafe working conditions, complete required training, and maintain powered lift certification.
  • Assist with operating machines as needed and maintaining hand tools in good working order.
  • Consult with designated individual on electrical malfunctions or repairs for course of action.
  • Observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including working overtime as required.
