The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in federal, state, and multi-state taxation. You will be expected to enhance client service through effective management of complex projects, while also mentoring and developing team members. The Tax Manager is integral in driving efficiency, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and contributing to the firm's growth and business development. Accountabilities Review and prepare federal, state, and local corporate tax returns, including estimates and projections. Advise clients on tax planning, compliance, and transaction-related activities. Deliver accurate work with minimal revisions, maintaining high professional standards. Conduct research on complex tax issues and stay updated with regulations. Manage multiple tax engagements and ensure deadlines are met. Provide exceptional client service and maintain clear communication. Oversee and mentor team members, aligning their skills with engagement needs. Identify business development opportunities and contribute to internal tax knowledge. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, EA, JD, or MST preferred. 8–10+ years of corporate tax experience in public accounting or a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and multi-state taxation. Experience managing tax engagements and supervising teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with major tax software and research tools. Requirements
