The Senior Tax Accountant adds value to the enterprise by driving the compliance and provision processes. This role requires tax technical, analytical and project management skills. This role is on the Tax Team, reporting to the Tax Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• Minimum 3 years federal and state income tax experience
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent organizational skills, analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines and be flexible when priorities change
• Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods of time
• Regularly required to talk, hear, and to use hands to grasp or handle
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Overtime as necessary

Nice To Haves

• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Experience with CorpTax and Alteryx software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and year-end income tax provision, including managing fixed assets
• Prepare and/or review US and Canada federal and state/provincial income tax returns
• Manage income tax audits
• Work on special projects, including tax planning and income tax research
• Prepare sales tax returns for assigned entity
• Serve as point of contact for external property tax provider, including providing data and coordinating payments.
