Job Summary: This Sr. Tax Accountant performs complex finance and accounting functions for markets and system applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Ensures accurate, consistent and timely preparation of all month-end close related duties including journal entries, variance/trend analysis and communication to small markets and systems. Performs/provides balance sheet account reconciliations, audit support, tax filings/other governmental required reporting and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's/Technical Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
• Five years' technical experience: Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Records general ledger journal entries and performs variance analysis.
• Reconciles general ledger balance sheet accounts according to assigned timing.
• Performs sales tax, income tax and other governmental tax filings.
• Communicates financial results and outcome of variances/analytics/reconciliations to markets.
• Performs audit, analysis and other duties as assigned.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
