Requirements

  • Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems.
  • Knowledge of employee training and development methodologies; ability to ensure that a target population has the knowledge and skills required to meet both tactical and strategic objectives.
  • Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
  • Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
  • Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Caterpillar facilities regarding recruiting and onboarding strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization, leveraging data to drive decision-making.
  • Serve as a thought leader for talent management programs and technology, particularly in the recruiting and onboarding space.
  • Provide advice and support to business and HR leaders, addressing related questions and requests.
  • Assist management in evaluating the effectiveness of the organization's talent practices and recommending improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives associated with talent acquisition and onboarding activities.
  • Review trend analysis and utilize data for continuous program improvement.
  • Act as a true business partner with stakeholders at multiple sites to help improve the onboarding and location performance for employee base.
