About The Position

The Human Resources Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies Texas, LLC (FDBT) plays a crucial role in leading staffing efforts to build a strong workforce that contributes to the company's success. The specialist will engage in various sourcing methods to find potential candidates and will be responsible for the entire recruitment process, from screening to recommending candidates for placement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field with 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 8 years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience.
  • Proficiency with standard office equipment and software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to cold call and network with potential candidates and industry leaders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with department managers and community leaders.
  • Strong active listening skills to understand hiring manager needs and candidate insights.
  • Good decision-making skills and ability to assess candidates accurately.
  • Knowledge of recruitment standards, industry trends, and competitor practices.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment law.
  • Problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the HR Team and hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
  • Review resumes to ensure candidates meet qualifications before sending to hiring managers.
  • Conduct interviews (Zoom, in-person, phone) and assess candidates for the next steps.
  • Assist hiring managers in developing job-specific interview questions.
  • Perform reference and background checks as needed.
  • Coordinate interviews and schedule travel for candidates.
  • Follow up on interview status with candidates and managers.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external clients to achieve staffing goals.
  • Communicate employer information and benefits during the screening process.
  • Stay current on company structure, personnel policies, and employment laws.
  • Participate in new hire orientations and conduct exit interviews as required.
  • Source candidates for various roles and review profiles against position requirements.
  • Provide candidates with detailed information about the company and career opportunities.
  • Organize and document post-interview feedback sessions with interview teams.
  • Extend offers of employment and articulate compensation packages to candidates.
  • Maintain integrity of the recruiting process and applicant tracking system.
  • Develop an understanding of FDB's competencies to qualify candidates effectively.
  • Demonstrate commitment to recruitment and inclusion of a diverse workforce.
