About the position
The Infrastructure Architect role focuses on designing and implementing IT infrastructure solutions that ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior staff. The role is critical in managing complex IT environments and ensuring effective service delivery to internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze, and maintain complex on-premises IT infrastructure for internal and external clients.
- Provide Level 2 & 3 support, escalating issues as needed.
- Manage projects, including planning, design, and implementation of solutions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Manage and train junior technical staff.
- Interface with vendors and clients to ensure service delivery.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- 5-9 years of prior IT experience in a senior-level role.
- Experience architecting and designing IT infrastructure for optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver successful outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
