About The Position

The Senior System Engineer at DCS Corp will provide hardware and software engineering technical support to the Ground Vehicle Division, focusing on lifecycle management and integration of advanced engineering technologies for both manned and unmanned ground vehicles. This role involves managing major projects related to the design, development, integration, testing, and enhancement of various Army ground vehicle systems, while also providing expert technical advice to both DCS engineers and Army customers.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 15 years of experience or a Master's degree with 12 years of experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience in Large Scale Software System development for ground combat systems.
• Experience in project management, execution, strategy development, risk mitigation, and problem solving.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to advance architectures and technology solutions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Systems Engineering and Integration for Ground Combat/Military Systems.
• Experience with SysML and the development and review of system models.
• Experience with the development and review of program milestone documentation (SEMP, TEMP, ISP, SSS, SSDD).
• Experience coordinating with Army organizations to facilitate strategic relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide HW and SW engineering technical support to the Ground Vehicle Division.
• Apply Subject Matter Expertise in ground vehicle architecture, standards, and requirements development.
• Coordinate with CCDC Research & Technology Integration Groups and external Army organizations for technology advancement.
• Work in a team environment with Army customers and DCS engineers on combined project teams.
• Critically examine systems architectures to guide their development across ground vehicle domains.
• Present advanced concepts and architectures for system enhancements and improvements.
• Support developmental testing activities at Army proving grounds.
