Requirements

5 years of professional experience
Experience with radar systems, subsystems and components.
Experience with computer networking infrastructure.
Experience with UNIX/Linux based operating systems and networks.
In-depth Aegis system knowledge/experience including all Combat System (ACS) elements.
Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship required.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in the operation and maintenance of Aegis Weapon Systems equipment, with a deep understanding of SPY-1A/B/D/D(V), Aegis BMD, and ABSP/MMSP systems.
Problem Solver: Proven ability to address technical challenges independently and effectively, ensuring mission-critical systems are operational and reliable.
Team Player: Thrives in a collaborative team environment, capable of directing technical activities and responding promptly to system testing requirements.
Adaptability: Able to manage tasks and priorities effectively in a dynamic environment, responding efficiently to changing project needs and deadlines.

Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or related engineering discipline (OR) equivalent job experience.

Responsibilities

System Support: Work in collaboration with Engineering Technicians to install, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade Aegis Weapon Systems (AWS) equipment at CSEDS, including SPY-1A/B/D/D(V), Aegis BMD, and Multi-mission Signal Processor (ABSP, MMSP) systems.
Technical Expertise: Utilize knowledge of U.S. Navy AWS performance specifications and characteristics to support critical baseline development testing using SPY ASSETS Test Systems (ATS, BTS, MMTS) and Aegis Operational Readiness Test System (ORTS).
Problem Solving: Provide solutions to technical problems of significant scope and complexity, ensuring effective system performance and reliability.
Project Contribution: Contribute to the completion of specific Aegis baseline programs and projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve program objectives.
