Join a dynamic team supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program as a Systems Requirements Engineer on the GWS Architecture and Delivery Requirements Team. Requirements
- Federal Law requires U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree
- Active Secret security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Background in systems engineering and requirements verification
- Hands-on experience with DOORS
- Recent experience authoring system requirements
- Ability to analyze, document, and present complex technical data effectively
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Test and Verification processes
- Experience with the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system
- Exposure to CAMEO or model-based systems engineering tools
- Direct test experience within a defense program
Responsibilities
- Review and guide the creation of high-quality requirements, test, and verification artifacts
- Develop, review, and approve: Verification test products and documentation System-level requirements (including derived and new requirements) Traceability analyses
- Plans, schedules, and performance tracking
- Contribute to and lead the development of requirements and verification products
- Document analysis results and present findings to MDA stakeholders
- Deliver technical briefings and collaborate with internal teams, MDA, and partner organizations
- Lead small teams of engineers in systems engineering product development
