Requirements

One (1) year of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS administration.
Expertise in Active Directory administration.
Experience with hardware and software management.
Strong understanding of security fundamentals.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies.
Skilled in problem analysis and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting.
Must have an active Secret clearance
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or equivalent certification)

Nice To Haves

Expertise in PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) administration.
Experience with compute and storage systems management.
Strong communication skills for team collaboration and client interaction.

Responsibilities

Technical role managing servers, systems, and core IT services supporting network infrastructure.
Install and configure servers to ensure proper functionality and integration with existing systems.
Manage virtual environments, ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to maintain high availability.
Implement patches and updates to keep systems secure and up to date.
Maintain security protocols to protect systems and data from threats.
Test backups regularly to ensure reliable data recovery in case of system failure.
Support system migrations by ensuring a smooth transition of services and minimizing downtime.
Document procedures for server setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
