Sr. Systems Engineer
About The Position
Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer (Systems), to support the H-60 Multi-Mission Helicopters Program Office (PMA 299) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. The candidate will provide technical leadership to identify, diagnose and resolve complex engineering issues that can be complex and require a comprehensive understanding of H-60 aircraft systems and subsystems. The candidate will coordinate engineering support with NAVAIR’s engineering divisions, external field engineering facilities and test sites. The candidate will ensure that engineering resources are applied to issues in a timely and effective manner to ensure effective program execution. The selected candidate will be responsible for not limited to: Provide systems engineering support to the MH-60R/S Air Vehicles Integrated Product Team. Provide technical systems engineering support for the H-60 Service Life Extension Program (SLEP). Perform programmatic or technical leadership roles in an organization identifying, formulating, designing, and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems. Guide the development of modern complex systems, employing systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advanced complex systems Conduct research in applied systems engineering to advance the field.
Requirements
- Must have a have a master’s degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university or a bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience is required.
- Must have ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering position, three (3) of which must be directly related to DoD Systems.
- Demonstrated experience in the area of engineering expertise is required.
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
- Must be a US Citizen
