We are excited to announce an opportunity for the Coyote Effector Test Director (TD) role to join our team in Tucson AZ. The TD will be responsible for ensuring the system is safe, effective, and suitable for use throughout the program development, integration events, and testing milestones.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with test planning and/or test execution.
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Test Director or Lead of Integrated Product Team including leading field tests.
  • Experience working with Customer and Industry Partners.
  • Experience with Coyote flight test operations or other rapid development programs.
  • Experience with bidding and proposal efforts, such as Basis of Estimate (BOE).
  • Experience with hardware and software integration, preferably on military platforms.
  • Ability to create integration and verification strategies/procedures and reviews (CTS, TRR, & ESRBs).
  • Experience delivering presentations to leadership, collaborating across functional teams and organizations (internal and external), effective planning, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execution of test events cumulating in multiple flight test demonstrations.
  • Perform comprehensive planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of testing activities.
  • Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements.
  • Conduct/create documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which may include Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Engineering Safety Review Boards (ESRB’s).
  • Liaison between the test execution team, customer representatives (when present) and program leads during the preparation and execution of the test events.
  • This position may require up to 50% travel during periods that include field test execution.
