We are excited to announce an opportunity for the Coyote Effector Sr. Systems Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Integration & Test (I&T) Engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will contribute to the critical process of ensuring all system components meet the required E3 specifications and performance standards prior to delivery.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with E3 planning/execution.
  • Experience with test related reviews (i.e. CTS, TRR & ESRB’s)
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hardware and software integration, preferably on military platforms.
  • Experience with lab environment, electrical troubleshooting, utilization of lab equipment and hardware builds.
  • Experience with MIL STD 461/464 testing methodologies.
  • Experience working with Customer and Industry Partners.
  • Ability to create integration and verification strategies/procedures
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of MS Office tools, and experience in the preparation and presentation of briefing material.

Responsibilities

  • Verify development systems for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electromagnetic Vulnerability (EMV), and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) per MIL-STD.
  • Perform E3 Test Planning: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments and perform/execute the testing, supporting the preparation of flight tests.
  • Integrate Systems: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
  • Create/modify documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which may include Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Test Data Review (TDR) packages.
  • Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
  • Document and Communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
  • This position may require up to 10% travel during periods that include field test execution.
