About The Position

Xoriant Corporation in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking applications for the position of Sr. Systems Analyst. This role involves a high level of independent decision-making authority and encompasses a variety of responsibilities including gathering requirements from business teams, analyzing and rewriting computer code algorithms, and building out a customer-facing portal with a modern front-end framework. The position requires participation in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, and development of applications. The analyst will also be responsible for preparing project concepts, documenting technical designs and specifications, and providing technical support to operations and infrastructure teams. Additional duties include performing peer code reviews, investigating reported defects, and automating system monitoring tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, or related Field.
• 5 years of experience in job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related field.
• Experience in Angular 12, NodeJS, Express JS, MongoDB, Mongoose, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, NPM, D3js, JIRA, GIT, GitHub, Postman, Service Now, SCSS, Agile Methodology.
• Willingness to relocate to unanticipated client sites throughout the US.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from Business teams.
• Analyze, review, and rewrite computer code algorithms.
• Build out customer facing portal with a modern front-end framework.
• Prepare Project Concepts and Application documentation.
• Document application's technical design and specifications.
• Participate in all stages of the SDLC requirements analysis and definition.
• Design and develop applications, including system utilities for testing, monitoring, and administration.
• Review Component design specifications for changes and update technical solution documents.
• Fix application defects and improve application efficiency and performance.
• Perform peer code review and analyze code changes.
• Identify and suggest areas of improvement in coding, performance, and efficiency.
• Ensure coding adheres to standard guidelines.
• Prepare Installation Guides, User Manuals, Standard Operational Procedures, and Troubleshooting Guides.
• Investigate and analyze reported defects in a timely manner and recommend solutions.
• Provide technical support to Operations and Infrastructure teams for various deployment environments.
• Automate backup, cleanup, and system monitoring.
