This role serves as a technical expert and product steward for Windows OS, macOS, iOS, Android OS, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Secure Print solutions. GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. Our mission is to improve lives in the moments that matter. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. You will design, configure, and manage enterprise-scale endpoint platforms, ensuring they meet security, compliance, and performance requirements while delivering a frictionless end-user experience. Collaborate closely with product management, security, and service delivery teams to execute roadmap initiatives that support business growth and digital transformation. Endpoint Platform Engineering & Administration Configure, deploy, and maintain endpoint platforms (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, VDI) in alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards. Design and implement standard images, baselines, and configuration policies to drive consistency, security, and ease of support. Manage secure printing solutions across a distributed environment, including print servers, drivers, queues, and user access controls. Security, Compliance & Risk Management Implement and enforce endpoint security controls such as hardening standards, encryption, endpoint protection, and device compliance policies. Partner with Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies (e.g., data protection, audit controls, logging). Continuously monitor endpoint health, patch levels, and security posture; lead remediation efforts for vulnerabilities and non-compliant devices. Operations, Troubleshooting & Support Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple operating systems, endpoint services, and device types, acting as an escalation point for support teams. Analyze incident trends and recurring issues, and drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes to reduce downtime and improve reliability. Develop and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles to improve support efficiency and consistency. Automation, Optimization & Performance Implement automation for provisioning, configuration management, patching, and software deployment to reduce manual effort and operational risk. Continuously assess platform performance, capacity, and user experience; propose and implement improvements to enhance reliability, speed, and scalability. Leverage monitoring and analytics tools to proactively identify issues, optimize resource utilization, and improve endpoint lifecycle management. Roadmap Execution & Collaboration Collaborate with product management to shape and execute the endpoint roadmap, including new capabilities, upgrades, and modernization initiatives. Work with service delivery, infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure endpoint solutions integrate effectively with the broader technology ecosystem. Participate in project planning and execution, providing estimates, technical designs, and implementation guidance for endpoint-related initiatives. Governance, Documentation & Leadership Maintain accurate documentation for platform architectures, standards, policies, and configurations. Contribute to and help enforce governance for endpoint standards, including device types, OS versions, software catalogs, and support models. Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior engineers and operations staff; share best practices and champion continuous improvement across the team.
