As a System Integration Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will work on a team with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, reporting to the system integration engineering manager. This is a small team of highly motivated people designing, testing, and flying advanced automated systems. We enjoy combining mechanical and electrical hardware and getting it onto an aircraft safely and quickly.

  • Own vehicle level projects through the planning, design, and testing phases of development.
  • Guide the schedule and sequencing of large integration projects.
  • Determine which aircraft functions are the highest priority to be integrated and tested on vehicle.
  • Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • 8+ Years of industry experience designing, integrating, and testing electromechanical systems
  • Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals
  • Experience using system design fundamentals
  • Experience reading electrical wiring schematics
  • Experience testing systems for proper performance
  • Experience writing and running code
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience designing a system architecture and weighing design options to accomplish specific system requirements
  • Experience performing vehicle safety assessments, risk assessments, and contingency management
  • Ability to design, build, and operate test stands and equipment
  • Excellent measurement, technical writing, and data analysis skills
  • Eagerness to both teach and learn
