The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team in Richardson, TX: RTX has a job opportunity for a Supply Chain Technician as part of our Supplier Master Data team in support of vendor master transactions at the enterprise level. The Supplier Master Data team is an integral part of RTX’s supply chain operations and is responsible for managing all data elements of RTX’s suppliers in the enterprise supplier database and financial systems. The team executes all requests involving supplier setups and updates. The activities of this team are critical to the execution of the Enterprise Services strategy to align end-to-end processes across all RTX business units. This Supply Chain Technician role involves a high volume, fast-paced, team-oriented, metric driven environment focused on individual and team performance with continuous improvement. The ideal candidate must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a challenging, deadline driven environment. The selected individual must also demonstrate the ability to take ownership and be accountable through individual actions and teamwork, continually working toward the goal of improving processes and efficiency. This position requires building positive relationships with our internal and external customers, including RTX’s supply base.

Requirements

  • Typically requires an Associate's degree or other 2-year post high school training and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • 6+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment, while maintaining or exceeding the Service Level Agreement with our internal customers

Responsibilities

  • Lead processing and validation of supplier setup and update requests in the RTX enterprise supplier database.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex or high‑risk vendor master cases, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and complete documentation.
  • Review and verify information from stakeholders, suppliers, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct advanced screenings and validations (e.g., compliance, debarment, banking verification).
  • Communicate critical supplier status changes such as bankruptcy, legal actions, or disqualification.
  • Monitor workflow and provide informal guidance or support to junior team members.
  • Compile and deliver monthly metrics and activity reports to key stakeholders.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and cycle time.
