CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud and AI capabilities at scale. Our mission is to deliver the world's computer with an industry-leading supply chain. The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is supported by more than 300 datacenters around the world that enable services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries. Microsoft Cloud Planning (MCP) is the central planning function within CSCP focused on forecasting, demand planning, and supply planning for all Microsoft Cloud services and associated hardware, directly impacting the success of Microsoft's cloud business. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years in management consulting and/or program management in IT hardware supply chain supporting of hardware or software.
  • Proven track record of successfully setting up team of contractors and executing supply chain operational processes at scale.
  • Proven ability to create & maintain operational metrics and present this to management.
  • Experience creating, tracking key performance metrics, creating data-driven insights to guide program decisions is preferred.
  • Experience developing contingency plans, manage escalations, and navigate ambiguity to keep programs on track despite changing business conditions is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations for team of contractors, assigning tasks, plan workload, ensuring team meets performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with business process owners to develop standard work procedures, and maintain feedback loop to drive improvements.
  • Create, communicate and maintain quality control policies and standard work procedures for contractor team.
  • Handle escalated issues, resolve complex complaints, and champion customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.
  • Identify opportunities to minimize repetitive tasks via automation
