Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years of experience as a commodity manager or a similar role in electronics product industry with at least 5 years managing semiconductor components
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, electrical engineering or a related field
• Experiences managing multiple semiconductor categories a strong plus
• Experiences working with global contract manufacturers a strong plus
• Highly skilled using Excel and Powerpoint
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Contribute to overall business procurement and supply chain strategy at F5
• Develop commodity strategies and lead cross-functional execution for semiconductor components leading to optimal cost, supply chain, quality and on-time deliveries
• Lead RFx process for supplier selection supporting new product introductions
• Manage cost updates throughout NPI development cycle and sustaining to ensure costs stay below target
• Analyze market trends and data, develop strategy and pipeline to meet cost reduction goals
• Drive supply chain risk mitigations through multi-sourcing and supplier relationship management
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions
• Manage strategic supplier relationship and host quarterly business reviews for strategic supplier performance management and ongoing strategic alignment
• Resolve issues and disputes related to commodity procurement and delivery
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations on commodity management activities and outcomes
• Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and standards
• Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies
• Performs other related duties as assigned
