About The Position

About the team: The Outbound Logistics team at ZF Gray Court plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of shipments, from receiving incoming goods to the final delivery to customers. Our team of 45 employees fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment where each member plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and safety. The Shipping/Receiving department is responsible for preparing shipping documentation, managing inventory in SAP, and ensuring all logistics processes run efficiently and accurately. You will work cross-functionally with various teams such as engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing, as well as with external carriers to facilitate smooth deliveries. What you can look forward to as a Sr. Supply Chain Clerk: Prepare shipping documentation to include customs declarations and commercial invoice for transmissions and small parts (service and MRO). Receive incoming shipments into the facility: verify part number, quantity, PO number from shipment documents and package labels Input goods receipts and shipments into SAP and assist in reconciling discrepancies. Maintain records of all received shipments, all outbound shipments, to include customer returns. Clean, organize and ensure 5S standards are maintained in the Shipping/Receiving Office, assuring a safe and sanitary work area. Report damaged goods and/or shortages. Route goods to the proper departments (rework department, return department, quality lab, etc.) Facilitate all carrier contact regarding scheduled deliveries and/or pickups. Use dollies, forklifts, and other PIV to transport shipments from loading dock and around warehouse.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required and associates degree preferred.
  • 0-3+ years’ experience in shipping/receiving.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP/MRP system. 2+ years of experience with SAP preferred.
  • Good Computer Skills in Microsoft products
  • In-depth knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within shipping and receiving.
  • Basic knowledge of DOT compliance and relevant regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally in in writing.

  • Forklift license preferred
