About The Position

The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst - Planning & Analytics is a highly visible and cross-functional role within the supply chain team at Reddy Ice. This role will be responsible for the centralized S&OP communication and asset planning processes and reporting within Reddy Ice to support growth and standardization. They will serve as the strategic bridge between sales, operations, and finance leaders to drive continuous improvement on the planning and coordination of merchandiser assets. Demonstrates our “True North” attributes: voice of the customer, respect for the individual, no nonsense communication and utilization of facts, servant leadership and has a continuous improvement mindset in every facet of leadership and daily interaction. Leads, collaborates and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Engineering, Finance, or related fields preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain planning, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Advanced analytical skills with expertise in Power BI or other related reporting and analytic tools.
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency with MS Office (specifically in Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in analyzing and reengineering MRP processes including knowledge and application of ERP systems (working knowledge in MS D365 a plus)
  • Demonstrated Lean Six Sigma project management skills
  • Proven experience and capability to develop KPIs for key processes and ability to drive positive performance

  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • S&OP Process Ownership Own the daily/weekly/monthly S&OP process for the US Packaged Ice division within Reddy Ice
  • Generate key KPIs and reports to drive improvement and accountability cross functionally.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Field Operations and Sales to ensure alignment on asset planning and prioritization.
  • Partner with sales and operations leadership to provide clear reporting on available assets and capacity to fulfill demand Supply Chain Analytics, Reporting, & Operations Support
  • Responsible for key data analytics projects and initiatives using Power BI and Power point for executive level visibility.
  • Lead any required cross-functional projects leveraging Lean tools.
  • Supply Chain subject matter expert in CE, our customer lead and demand tool.
  • Partner with sales to ensure accurate data for demand and case data.
  • Asset Demand and Supply Planning Supply Plans: In collaboration with the asset management team, build and drive supply plans for all DSD merchandisers & ISB (in store baggers), work closely with field operations to execute daily.
  • Work with Asset Management team to establish capacity plans for refurb centers and develop SAAG reporting.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 12–18 month capacity and supply plan for merchandisers and ISB units, incorporating sales forecasts, refurb throughput, and capital deployment.
  • Set detail plans for installs, removals, swaps, wraps.
  • Own the planning and execution of the company’s special events process from end to end.
  • Inventory Management Provide analytic support for the Asset Management team for spend, output, and planning for parts and supplies ordering.
  • Work closely with procurement on purchasing of new merchandisers.
  • Partner with Fixed Assets on continual alignment and reconciliation between ERP and physical inventory.
  • Lead continual alignment reconciliations between D365 ERP and physical inventory, partnering with Fixed Assets and Finance to ensure accuracy and proper budget capitalization.
  • Lean Leadership Leads, collaborates and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value create for our customers, employees and shareholders.
  • Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
  • Must thoroughly understand and use of Lean Methodologies to manage small and large-scale projects.
