About The Position
At Lucid, we are committed to leading the future of luxury electric vehicles, and we are seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer for Chassis Suspension Systems to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in driving best-in-class product quality throughout the development process, ensuring that our vehicles not only meet but exceed the expectations of our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills, thriving in a complex and fast-paced environment. As a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to balance design innovation with robust manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal quality in our suspension systems. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process with suppliers, leading design reviews, and ensuring that manufacturing needs are considered during the design phase. You will also be responsible for driving and tracking all Tier suppliers involved in Engineering Design Change activities, working closely with various departments such as Design Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to ensure the successful development of suspension components. In this high-visibility role, you will perform supplier assessments, audits, and site inspections, developing process improvement plans and monitoring performance metrics. Your ability to travel 25-75% of the time to Lucid Motors and supplier sites globally will be essential in maintaining strong relationships and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO9001 and IATF16949. You will analyze data from supplier and assembly plant builds to assess capabilities and ensure that all requirements are met for successful production.
