This position requires traveling to sites as well as remote work. Candidates must live in the following states to be considered: KS, AR, MO, IL, MS, LA, TN, GA. The primary duty is the supervision of 4-15 in-house phlebotomists in the assigned region. The role involves supervising the activities of staff and the operations of their assigned locations according to established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include supervisory duties such as attendance, interviews, disciplinary action, performance reviews, skills development, and compliance. The position also requires maintaining an active working role as a phlebotomist to provide coverage at these locations as needed. This role will travel to client offices as needed to provide phlebotomy coverage account management. The employee will perform yearly skills assessments as required by standard operating policies and ensure staff adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Regular reviews of SOPs will be conducted to ensure content is current, with recommendations for updates provided to the supervisor. Periodic inspections will be conducted to ensure suitable handling of patients and specimens, and all regulatory and permit requirements are met per each State’s requirements.
