About The Position

Vitro is looking for a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to provide day-to-day supervision for assigned maintenance crews. Responsible for coordinating maintenance activities for plant equipment, building and grounds, including tentative and preventative maintenance, work orders/requests, and project work. The incumbent must interface/update the SAP-PM system. The incumbent supervises assigned maintenance crew tasks, and assists in the training of maintenance employees. Provides leadership and direction to the safety of all employees and visitors to the plant. Collaborates with other departments to optimize production requirements and continuously improve plant performance through process improvements.

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems including PLC programming.
• Understanding of building systems including HVAC, compressed air systems, utility systems, and water treatment processes.
• Thorough understanding of raw material handling including conveyors, material elevators, and associated equipment.
• Understanding of electrical systems and equipment such as motors, motor control centers, transformers, switchgears, and process instrumentation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations including product and employee safety and OSHA standards.
• Strong leadership, customer service, project management, and organization skills.
• Minimum of 8 years’ supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and practical hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Project management experience required.
