About The Position

As a Sr Subcontracts Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing subcontracting activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and driving cost-effective solutions within our Aerospace Procurement team. You will work out of our Glendale, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, External New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F. In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our subcontracting processes, contributing to the successful execution of our aerospace projects and initiatives. Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in subcontract management or procurement
  • Must be a US Person due to contractual requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in subcontract management or procurement within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in contract negotiation and compliance.
  • Experience with procurement software and tools.
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and negotiation of subcontract agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify subcontracting needs and implement effective procurement strategies.
  • Analyze supplier performance and manage relationships to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
