The North America Amazon Private Brands Supply Chain team is seeking an experienced Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Manager to support our Hardlines Private Brands business. This role will own supply chain strategy and execution for HPB's import-heavy portfolio. You'll partner with global teams across Asia and Europe, as well as internal cross-functional partners, to drive best-in-class availability, speed, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will serve as the supply chain subject matter expert for Hardlines, owning inventory health, auditing buying and forecasting models, and driving process improvements across a complex international supply chain while navigating challenges including tariff impacts, overstock management, and placement optimization. A key focus will be identifying and executing initiatives to remove cost from the supply chain and reduce cost-to-serve for both consumer and B2B customers. You'll join the NA APB Supply Chain team, supporting Hardlines Private Brands alongside colleagues supporting Consumables and Softlines businesses. Our team partners across all APB product families to deliver exceptional supply chain performance, balancing tactical execution with strategic initiatives. We work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment focused on delivering best-in-class availability and speed to customers. The team values customer obsession, ownership, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement. We collaborate closely with central teams including Supply Chain Intelligence (SCIT), Business Intelligence Engineering, and Supply Chain Tech to leverage AI-powered tools and automation. You'll review performance dashboards to identify inventory health issues and availability risks across Hardlines Private Brands' portfolio. A significant portion of your day involves conducting meetings with key stakeholders including Sourcing teams, Business Management teams, and Origin Supply Chain teams to align on demand forecasts, address vendor performance challenges, and resolve production delays with Asia-based vendors. You'll conduct deep dives on KPI trends, analyzing root causes of out-of-stock situations or overstock concerns. You'll audit buying models, present insights to leadership, and drive process improvement initiatives. You'll leverage AI-powered tools to proactively monitor inventory risks and automate operational actions.
