As a CBRE Program Sr. Director, you will oversee the teams who are responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects and programs, capital planning, account integration, data management and account initiatives. This job is part of the Program Management function. They are responsible for the creation and delivery of strategic programs representing major company initiatives.

  • Provide formal supervision to employees.
  • Monitor the training and development of staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
  • Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities.
  • Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
  • Set and track staff and department deadlines.
  • Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and high-priority escalation points for any staffing, bandwidth, or delivery issues.
  • Obtain support for assigning resources to a specific project or program.
  • Lead regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
  • Develop training for staff and develop processes and services to support client requests and needs.
  • Report the status of individuals and groups of projects and programs to the Executive Management.
  • Spearhead high-profile cross-functional projects and programs from end to end.
  • Initiate the development of a program charter and integrated timeline.
  • Ensure all functions remain on schedule, issues get resolved, and the program is completed successfully.
  • Drive financial and functional performance within disciplines and across the business.
  • Negotiate with senior management, customers, and external parties of divergent interests to reach an agreement of strategic importance.
  • Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.
  • Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
