About The Position

Engine is on a mission to transform how travel is booked and experienced. As we scale rapidly, we're seeking a strategic finance leader to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our growth engine. This is not a traditional FP&A Lead role — it's an opportunity to sit at the intersection of Finance, Strategy, Go-to-Market (GTM) and Supply, helping us unlock deeper insights and drive smarter, faster decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or consulting, with significant exposure to GTM, Fintech, or SaaS operating models.
  • Prior experience in fintech and/or high-growth startups.
  • Deep understanding of GTM economics — CAC, LTV, churn, funnel metrics, sales efficiency — and how to apply them to strategic planning and growth.
  • Advanced modeling skills in Excel (or Google Sheets), and fluency in tools like Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, or similar.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear narratives for C-suite and board audiences; comfortable influencing senior stakeholders with data-backed recommendations.
  • Strategic, proactive, and resourceful mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with planning systems like Adaptive, Anaplan, or Mosaic.
  • Mentorship experience with junior finance team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial and operational analysis across Supply Sales and Partnerships, Pricing, and new product lines including Flights, Cars and Fintech to identify growth levers and improve execution.
  • Design and lead frameworks that provide meaningful, decision-driving insights for senior leadership and board meetings.
  • Own and evolve high-impact financial models (e.g., revenue forecast, partnerships ROI, CAC payback) that inform quarterly targets, hiring plans, and investment decisions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply, Pricing, and Product to define KPIs, evaluate strategic initiatives, and measure performance across key growth experiments.
  • Drive forward-looking GTM strategy, including new product acceleration, resource allocation and addressable market analytics.
